Principal/Partner for nine developments totaling over 3,600,000 square feet. Responsible for site acquisition, governmental entitlements, project proforma, leasing, construction management and marketing.
1997 - 1999:
Leasing Agent for the Corti Gilchrist Partnership, LLC., San Diego, California. Under John Gilchrist, formerly President/CEO of The Hahn Company; and Al Corti, formerly Executive Vice President of The Hahn Company, worked all aspects of the retail leasing process in both the development and re-development of retail properties. A few projects include the expansion of the Fashion Valley Mall, San Diego, California (1,697,162 sf); the expansion of the Irvine Spectrum Entertainment Center, Irvine, California (1,000,000 sf at completion); Fashion Square at Sherman Oaks, California (864,408 sf), El Con Mall in Tucson, Arizona (1,400,000 sf); Fenton Marketplace, San Diego, California (560,000 sf IKEA, Costco, Lowe’s); and Fletcher Gateway (58,000 sf Albertson’s).
1995 - 1996:
CB Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Company, San Diego, California. Spent first six months as Market Researcher, tracking vacancy, absorption lease rates, and sales of retail, industrial, and apartment properties. Thereafter, performed leasing and marketing of shopping centers for several landlords throughout San Diego County. Worked with retail tenants regarding expansion strategy for San Diego, specific site analysis, and lease negotiations.
