Village Walk at EastLake Nearing Completion.

February 12, 2007
Construction is 80 percent complete for Village Walk at EastLake, a new 162,000 square-foot retail development in the master-planned community of EastLake in Chula Vista. San Diego based Sudberry Development Inc., the development arm of Sudberry Properties, is developing the project.
Fehlman LaBarre Architecture and Planning is the project architect, Stuart Engineering the civil engineer and Nowell & Associates the landscape architect.

Village Walk at EastLake is already 93 percent pre-leased. Tenants include Borders Books, Henry's Marketplace, PETCO, Pier One and Trader Joe's. The center is slated to open in May.

Designed as a specialty center, Village Walk at EastLake will complement its neighboring EastLake Village Marketplace, a 410,000 square-foot community shopping center, also developed by Sudberry Development. Anchored by Lowe's and Target, EastLake Village Marketplace opened in fall 2003.
